Hi Bill and Kay,
I wrote a note to the carpool tonight about what is up with us. I know that you both were also interested in our travels to China, so I thought I would send you a copy of the letter. I will miss you and the band greatly. I hope you all have a great year. I will keep in touch as things change.
Becky

My heart broke last night when I had to miss. I meant to write you all before the first night, so you wouldn't be wondering, but I procrastinated and didn't get it done. We actually have not sold the house yet. We tried very hard at the beginning of the summer and then plumb tired out we played the last part of summer and went camping a lot and traveling. We have had several people very interested that have said it was perfect for them in every way and then they back out just before making an offer. We still had not advertised beyond the sign in our yard on account of making updates to the home. We are advertising in the paper this weekend, though, so maybe we will get some more traffic. If this doesn't help we will probably go with a realitors help of some sort.

It was very hard but I have made the decision not to come back even though the house is not sold yet. We have decided to go ahead and get the kids used to home schooling since I had already purchased all the materials to take to China. This will get them used to the matierals and mom as teacher and hopefully make the transition smoother for them. It is quite a juggling act, though to home school 3 kids and try to keep the house perfect to show with them in it all day and still have dinner on the table at night. (laughing) There just really isn't any room for practicing and another commitment and then not knowing how long I would be there. I wish I was, though. If for some reason anything changes and things get postponed, I will be back. I will write again when we actually do have news of the sale and dates of when we will be off to China. I hope all is well with you.

Miss you,

Becky
